I wanted to start a discussion around a challenge we’re facing at our rural hospital finding a cheap USA dedicated server solution that meets HIPAA compliance needs but doesn’t break the budget.
We’re currently working with limited IT resources, and while cloud services are great in theory, we’ve run into issues with latency and inconsistent connectivity in our region. We’re looking for a dedicated hosting solution located in the US that’s secure, affordable, and ideally includes some level of managed support (since we don’t have a full-time server admin on site).
Has anyone else in a similar setup found a workable solution?
After a bit of digging, HostNoc came up as a possible option they offer affordable plans and seem to support compliance-focused configurations. I haven’t used them yet, but wondering if anyone here has experience with them or similar providers?
Would love to hear how others are handling on-prem vs dedicated hosting decisions in rural settings.
